Aleph Group Inc. has recently dispatched two state-of-the-art mobile medical clinics to Kentucky Prime Care Association. This marks the beginning of an impactful journey, initiated by Rick Grant, CEO and his organization, Kentucky Primary Care Association, which aims to reach underserved communities across Kentucy to provide primary care services and vaccines.
The Need for Mobile Medical Clinics in Kentucky
Rick Grant expressed the need for improved healthcare access in various regions of Kentucky, where healthcare services are scarce. He noted that the idea for mobile clinics stemmed from the organization’s pursuit of grants dedicated to expanding healthcare services. Grant emphasized the critical role these mobile clinics will play in reaching underserved communities, stating, “There’s a great need in Kentucky for healthcare, and there are pockets of the state where it is not readily available.” He expressed his gratitude for the partnership with Aleph Group Inc., which has enabled KPCA to bring much-needed healthcare services to these communities.
Mobile Clinics Features
The mobile clinics provided by AGI. are designed to accommodate the specific needs of clients like KPCA. These units are designed with durability, spaciousness, and ensure a wide range of services can be offered. Built on a Ford heavy duty chassis F-550 with a diesel engine, the 26-foot-long clinics are designed for easy operation without requiring a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Each clinic is equipped with a medical exam room, restroom, intake area, and a wheelchair lift to ensure ADA compliance. These features will allow KPCA to provide high-quality care conveniently and efficiently.
Future Deliveries and Funding
The initial deployment of the two clinics is just the beginning, with KPCA. The organization is set to receive three more mobile clinics from a total of twelve in April. The Kentucky Health and Family Services Department has allocated over $5 million in funding to support this initiative, highlighting the importance of expanding healthcare access in the state. As we look to the future, the potential of mobile healthcare in Kentucky and beyond is immense.
