August is National Health Awareness Month
Immunization Reminder
According to Health.gov, August is the right time for National Health Awareness to highlight Immunizations for the public. Covid is still an issue, and everyone should get vaccinated to promote better community health.
As fall nears, you can expect the Flu to come back, and we should all help protect ourselves, our children, and the public at large by doing what we can to get caught up on recommended vaccines.
Covid has brought with it complications that have made it harder to help people get educated and immunized against a variety of diseases.
The CDC has resources that can help you navigate in these trying times.

Children’s Eye Health and Safety
Protecting your child’s vision is no easy task sometimes. Children can sometimes get into trouble that could cause them harm, and harm other children. The National Eye Institute (NEI) has a set of easy resources for kids to Learn About Eye Health that walk you through how your eyes work, and the important task of keeping your child’s vison safe.
August is also National Breastfeeding Month
